during the museum trips.
I don‘t own a vintage car myself. But I
have provided the museum with equipment:
On the one hand, my father was a fireman
for many years and on the other hand, at
the beginning of my membership in our
fire department numerous old uniforms,
helmets and boots were taken out of
service. And instead of disposing of them I
was able to bring everything to the museum.
Some of the boots and helmets were used
by the military department, but the uniforms
are displaced in Speyer among the fire
engines. Also a German Reichsbahn
uniform of my grandfather came to
Sinsheim. I already took part in celebrating
the 10 years anniversary in Sinsheim and
now the 40 years anniversary is coming up.

As a trustee of the European Foundation for the
Preservation of Speyer Cathedral, our museum‘s
president has been a supporter of the medieval
cathedral church since 2016. We were honored when
the 96th Bishop of Speyer, Dr. Karl-Heinz Wiesemann,
visited our museum in return. Being a passionate organ
player himself, he was particularly impressed by our
collection of musical instruments. Museum‘s member,
