Throughout his life, Eberhard Layher
received numerous honorings. Among
others, he received the Federal Cross of
Merit, the Ring of Honor of the town of
Güglingen, the Karl-Wilhelmi Medal of
Honor of Sinsheim and the Medal of
Merit of Speyer. He was respected as a
passionate, cosmopolitan entrepreneur
who always remained related to home. In
addition, he was a passionate hunter and
land owner who enjoyed spending a lot
of time in nature. Eberhard Layher passed
away in 2012 at the age
