Premiere in Sinsheim!

As you know, we have numerous
automobile, motorcycle as well as
model making meetings in our
museums. Even mechanical music
received its own series of events.
But what we still lacked were
meetings with somewhat
„larger participants“!

Thus, organized by the Community
of interest South German truck veteran
friends (Interessengemeinschaft
Süddeutsche LKW-Veteranen-
Freunde), more than 80 vintage
trucks rolled onto the grounds for
two days. After all, the giants have
also been part of the technical cultural
heritage and with a minimum weight
of 3.5 tons and length of 6 meters, the
open space was quickly filled. At the
1st South German Meeting of Historic
Commercial Vehicles, commercial
vehicles of various types and years
were lined up: from original condition
to complete new restoration, from
small flatbed trucks and the beginnings
of truck transport to the heavy-duty
machines, fire engines, tipper, tractor
units as well as complete trains,
every truck version was represented.
