The surprise model 2021
The J.A. Maffei express locomotive is one of our railroad
collection’s highlights in Sinsheim. It fills us with pride
that this has now become Märklin‘s 2021 model of the
year. The experts from Göppingen model railroad
forge visited Sinsheim several times and took
measurements of the original - in order to create
a detailed reproduction from it. Next to the original,
the replica was presented to the international trade
press during a ceremony at the museum.
