100 years ago, this most historic picture is said
to have been taken in Graz, Austria: racing driver
Franz Heim at the wheel of a legend. But they
didn‘t have to travel so far for this picture after blog
all. The Mannheim symbol, the Wolfsangeln, can blog.technik-museum.de/
still be seen on the fence’s masonry near the fotopoint-in-mannheim
Käfertal waterworks. In 2021, our Blitzen-Benz
was brought back to Mannheim-Käfertal in order
to recreate this picture true to original.

New meeting place for young
and oldtimer fans ,

According to the motto „for fans from fans“ technik-museum.de/en/calendar
we offered a small but fine petrol regulars‘
table series in addition to the usual petrol
heads‘ meeting Frühschoppen (the first date
was on July 4) in our anniversary year. From
April to October, there were special „parking
spaces“ in the indoor area, right next to the
gigantic Jumbo Jet or the impressive Antonov
An-22 transport aircraft; each regulars‘ table
had it carried out as its own motto.
