BRAZZELTAG® - THE MUSEUM IN ACTION

11 AND 12 MAY 2024

Burning tyres, roaring engines, rattling vintage cars and the horn of a rescue cruiser. This and much more will fascinate the visitors of the BRAZZELTAG® at the Technik Museum Speyer.
While spectacular vintage cars, record-breaking vehicles and highlights such as Brutus show their power on the museum's own race track, daring stunts and leisurely laps on Lanz tractors in the Brazzelarena ensure that visitors of all ages get their money's worth.

Treasures from all eras of automotive history can be found in the Fan Area and visitors can shop on the exceptional dealer mile.
A wide range of food and drink, live music and much more make the Brazzeltag unforgettable.

  • Brazzelparcours

On our "racetrack", the Brazzelparcours, you can experience classic vintage cars, sports cars or US cars in motion! A highlight here is our displacement monster Brutus - this bullet will be presented live. The Blitzen-Benz (1911 the fastest means of transport of its time) is also impressively staged!

  • Brazzelarena

There are also many cool program items in the Brazzelarena, including Gerd Habermann's Dragster Bike. Visitors can also actively participate here: Moped Garage GmbH offers test drives on Kreidlers or Zündapps, and the little Brazzlers in particular have the opportunity to ride historic LANZ tractors.

  • Brazzelgrounds

But also away from the Brazzel course and arena, there are dozens of other things to experience at BRAZZELTAG®, such as starting the engine of a Transall C 160 of the Bundeswehr. The former crew of our sea rescue cruiser John T. Essberger starts the machines and expert submarine drivers give very special insights into the submarine U9.

  • Dealers

In addition to numerous stands for physical well-being, the BRAZZELTAG® will of course also have a large dealer mile for everything a petroleum heart desires. In addition to the information stands of many ideal exhibitors, the Brazzelshop with cool Brazzel souvenirs is of course also open for you all weekend!

  • Museum

And don't forget: The entrance fee for the BRAZZELTAG® includes entry to all exhibition areas of the Technik Museum Speyer. In addition to the attractions of the BRAZZELTAG®, you will also experience a walk-in Boeing 747, a huge space exhibition with its space shuttle Buran, historic vintage cars, motorcycles and much more!

What conditions apply to members of the support association? For Brazzeltag 2024, an additional payment of 10 euros per event day will be charged for adult members. Children receive free entry.
Due to the increasing expenses in areas such as personnel, energy, taxes, etc. and in order to continue to maintain the quality of our events, this innovation is necessary.

Are there any provisions for wheelchair users? The entire BRAZZELTAG event area and most of the exhibition areas of the Technik Museum Speyer are barrier-free for a wheelchair. Individual museum attractions, such as the Boeing 747, the rescue cruiser John T. Essberger or the submarine U9, are unfortunately not barrier-free accessible. Special sanitary rooms are available in the Hangar 10 restaurant and in the space hall. There are sufficient parking spaces for disabled people in our main car park P1 (immediately in front of the main entrance to the Technik Museum Speyer). Access to this parking lot is only possible with a corresponding parking permit.
A barrier-free stage will also be placed for wheelchair users, which will serve as an elevation to follow what is happening in the Brazzel course.

Where can I park and how do I get from the parking lot to Brazzeltag? There are various parking areas designated around the Brazzeltag site. A free shuttle bus service is also offered from some of the car parks. You can find an overview of the parking spaces and further information on how to get there under “Directions”.

Can you travel by public transport? It is also possible to travel by public transport. The “Technik-Museum” bus stop is located right next to the main entrance.

Are there food offerings at the event?A variety of food trucks and food stands are spread throughout the site. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. The museum restaurant is also open.

Can I bring food and drinks with me?You are permitted to bring small amounts of food and drinks with you as required by your own needs. Bringing alcoholic beverages and any form of glass or can is strictly prohibited.

Can I take a backpack with me?You are welcome to take a backpack with you, but be prepared for bag checks. There are a limited number of lockers available on site for you to use if required.

How loud will it be at the event? The sound level can sometimes be over 85 dB. We recommend wearing hearing protection, especially during demonstrations. You can purchase both earplugs and earmuffs (Mickey Mouse) on site.

Are dogs allowed?Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the entire museum and event grounds. We ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home.

Can I leave and re-enter the premises? In total, you can leave and re-enter the premises twice with your ticket.

Can I book a hotel room or a caravan space?During BRAZZELTAG, both the hotel at the Technik Museum Speyer and the associated caravan parking space are almost completely occupied by actors from the technology festival. However, there are various other accommodation options available in and around Speyer.

Can tickets that have already been purchased be canceled? We ask for your understanding that tickets that have already been purchased for Brazzeltag 2024 cannot be exchanged.

I still have old Brazzeltag tickets from previous years. Can I redeem these at Brazzeltag 2024?Tickets from previous years have lost their validity, we ask for your understanding. Only Brazzeltag tickets that are expressly marked "2024" are valid for Brazzeltag 2024.
