Nord 2501 Noratlas

As a military transport plane the "Noratlas" was part of the standard equipment of the French Airforce since 1951. Starting in 1956, 161 units were manufactured in Germany under license. Subsequently it was also used by the Israeli Airforce. The fuselage tail opens for loading and unloading. The French government was kind enough to put the plane on exhibit at the Museum. In the background you can see the IMAX Dome movie theatre.
